Here's a treat for you - olive oil and white sugar! Yep…I now swear by it. Thanks to a great tip from Finn, I now keep some Extra Virgin (side note - just how prudish are these EXTRA virgin olives anyway?) olive oil in a small spray bottle and every morning and night, I spray some on my face and neck. Then I spread some sweet, sweet sugar all over that oil and gently rub, creating an aux natural exfoliator.
After rinsing off the solution, my winter-worn skin is left nice and soft. I’ve found that my special red juice works wonders for my bod, but these Bar Harbor winters on exposed skin leaves this new regimen working for me! Here’s just one of my many necessary hats for these January days. If you would’ve been out in that nasty nor’easter we had the other day (like Finn and I were), you’d own a healthy supply of them too. Wimpy Finny will never get used to days like that...I think he needs a pretty hat for his head too!
